The move to Horseland went quite OK. Whisper of course gave us some trouble loading but it didn't take too long to get him on the trailer. Ermi. He just walked right on. It's kind of funny because Whisper has never been too friendly with Ermi and it took him to be in a stressful situation to change his attitude towards Ermi. I was driving behind the trailer and most of the time Whisper's head was resting on Ermi. Whisper was stressed you could hear him screaming every few minutes.

When we arrived I expected Whisper to be hard to handle, but no, he was stressed but well behaved. We put both horses in the beginning in the same paddock hoping that they would get a long. Ermi wasn't having it. Whisper would not leave him alone. He was constantly following Ermi to the point that Ermi kicked him and he kicked back and cut one of Ermi's back legs. It wasn't anything concerning but it wasn't working out so we separated them.

When we arrived all the stress we had been going through just left us. Everyone there was very welcoming. One of the owners of the farm, Antonis, asks us even now, three months later, if we need anything and if our horses are ok. To be honest I am very grateful for Antonis. He checks on each horse daily. He fixes things that break. He also makes constant upgrades. The farm is thriving.

The kids and I are very involved. I teach beginners and all three of us help to let horses free, shower them, lunge, and saddle for the lessons and they also get to ride any unworked horses. We enjoy it and they have a great opertunity to ride different styles of horses which helps them grow as riders. The lead instructor, Theodora and I have known each other for years. We had been together at the farm that closed down and we regularly kept in touch. We are very grateful to have her as our trainer and thankful for all the support she has and is giving us.

The horses settled in very fast. Even Whisper who is usually super spooky was perfectly fine and moves around the farm without any issues. Ok, it is the farm where we got him from. Basically it was a race track farm before it became a riding school. Part of the farm's stables are still being rented to a race track trainer. The same one from whom we got Whisper from.

The next one will be Ermi's story. Take care x
