Check your treat box!

Well both horses are lame. No idea why. No swelling so we just gave the usual cocktail of medications and we wait and see. Ermi was actually OK with being injected. Whisper not so much. Took three of us, but we managed.

Now for the funny story. So Sophia's phone went missing at the farm. We looked in the usual places. Nothing. I tried to track it down using various apps and it said it was somewhere on the farm. So we walked around. Everyone walked around. Checking bins, bags etc. We checked our tack bag a bunch of times as that is where she last remembered it being. Nothing. Others checked the tack bag, the locker, my car. We even checked in the saddle cover. Nothing. I rechecked the location and it said it was in the nearby village. So we tried to contact people who had been at the farm. Maybe they picked it up by mistake. Maybe it fell in a bag. Who knows. Thieves? No that didn't really cross my mind.

Anyway after an hour or so we gave up and went home. This morning I returned to the farm. I had my tablet to track its last location as Google was saying it's still at the farm. Samsung was saying it was in a nearby village. So I turned on the hot-spot and walked around hoping the phone would connect so I could make it ring via the apps. Nothing. N O T H I N G. So I went back to tack bag. I emptied it again. Stared at. Sophia had said she took her phone out to get treats. The treat box we have is a white box with a screw on lid. I was like nah. But yeah? And there it was in the treat box. I couldn't stop laughing. I am so grateful for everyone who spent their time trying to find it and they all had a good laugh when I sent them the video of where I found it.
